Senate Bill 21-266 Summary

• Performs nonsubstantive revisions to Colorado Revised Statutes by amending or repealing obsolete, imperfect, and inoperative laws while preserving legislative intent, including corrections to internal references, removal of expired provisions, and conforming amendments to prior legislation

• Relocates the Colorado Uniform Electronic Wills Act from Part 15 of Article 12 of Title 15 to Part 13 of Article 11 of Title 15 to improve style and clarity; electronic wills must be readable as text, signed by the testator (or another on testator's direction), and either witnessed by two individuals or notarized

• Repeals multiple obsolete provisions requiring one-time fund transfers that occurred on specific dates in 2020 and earlier years, including transfers from petroleum cleanup, workers' compensation, unemployment, and insurance funds
