Designates February 4 of each year as "Missing Persons Day" in Colorado to raise awareness of missing persons and support families.

Recognizes that approximately 2,300 Americans are reported missing daily, with as many as 90,000 active missing persons cases in the United States at any given time.

Acknowledges the AMBER Alert program established in Colorado in 2002 and the senior alert program expanded in 2007, which have helped recover missing children and locate vulnerable persons.

Encourages public awareness, law enforcement support, and use of technology to locate missing persons, emphasizing that investigations should begin immediately when evidence of foul play exists.

Lists hundreds of names of currently missing Coloradans and directs copies of the resolution be sent to victim advocacy organizations and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
