The State Treasurer transfers $3.9 million from the General Fund to the Colorado DRIVES Vehicle Services Account in the Highway Users Tax Fund on July 1, 2022.

This transfer prevents the Department of Revenue from increasing driver license fees by an additional $2 to maintain current service levels.

The current driver license and minor's driver license fee is set at $30.87.

The transferred funds address solvency needs of the Colorado DRIVES Vehicle Services Account without requiring fee increases over the upcoming two years.
