• Increases commission meeting frequency from quarterly to monthly and establishes an executive committee responsible for coordinating with state agencies and the general assembly.

• Creates the Lifelong Colorado Initiative within the State Office on Aging to develop and implement strategies supporting aging across individual lifespans and age-friendly communities aligned with the strategic action plan on aging.

• Establishes a technical advisory committee comprised of representatives from multiple state departments to coordinate implementation of aging strategies, develop trackable metrics, and align state policy development through a demographic lens supporting aging.

• Updates legislative findings to recognize structural racism, sexism, and ageism as factors impacting older Coloradans and emphasizes state responsibility to prepare residents for longer lives through education and cross-generational collaboration.
