HB 22-1184: Capital Construction Supplemental Appropriations

• Appropriates $306.48 million total for capital construction projects across Colorado state agencies and higher education institutions for fiscal year 2021-22

• Part I allocates $89.59 million for controlled maintenance projects at state agencies and higher education institutions, including HVAC replacements, roof repairs, and infrastructure updates

• Part II allocates $66.30 million for state agency capital renewal and expansion, including $18.84 million for parks and wildlife infrastructure and projects at corrections, human services, and transportation departments

• Part III allocates $150.59 million for higher education capital renewal and expansion, with major projects including renovations at University of Colorado Boulder ($35.2 million), Colorado State University-Pueblo ($17.1 million), and Auraria Higher Education Center ($20.6 million)

• Also amends capital construction appropriations for fiscal years 2018-2020, including a $120 million donation-funded Subsurface Frontiers Building at Colorado School of Mines
