Removes the initial January 17, 2020 deadline for jail data collection reporting, requiring submissions only on or before the third Friday of January, April, July, and October thereafter.

Repeals Colorado Revised Statutes 17-26-118(4)(d) effective January 31, 2023, which previously required quarterly reporting of jail inmate data to the division of criminal justice.

Repeals Colorado Revised Statutes 24-33.5-518(4.5) effective March 31, 2023, which required the division of criminal justice to collect, compile, and publish jail facility data in searchable and sortable formats.

Appropriates $4,918 to the department of public safety for the 2022-23 fiscal year to support 0.1 FTE for administrative services to implement the act.

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, unless subject to a referendum petition filed by November 2022.
