HB 22-1219 Summary

• Division of Veterans Affairs must create and maintain an online portal by January 1, 2023 (subject to available appropriations) to provide veterans resource information through the clearinghouse over the internet.

• Portal must provide access to information about supports, services, and assistance including community-based services, health services, support services, and assistive devices.

• Portal must allow users to maintain personalized health records and offer secure care coordination and personalized care tools to engage veterans in their health and well-being.

• Portal must comply with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements and state accessibility standards to ensure access for all Colorado veterans.

• Division may contract with a third party to create and maintain the portal, or expand an existing substantially similar portal to meet the bill's requirements.
