• Applies the terminology change across 65+ sections of Colorado law covering educator preparation programs, occupational licensing, school employment, child care, healthcare professions, banking, gaming, and other regulated industries

• Maintains the same operational procedures and requirements for when such checks must be conducted—primarily when fingerprint-based checks reveal arrests without dispositions or fingerprints are unclassifiable

• Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety
