State Treasurer shall transfer $11,720,278 from the General Fund to the Division of Professions and Occupations Cash Fund on July 1, 2022.

Transferred funds are not subject to annual appropriation and shall be used beginning in fiscal year 2022-23 to fund State Board of Nursing administrative costs for nursing and psychiatric technician licensing and certification.

Money shall be used to provide licensure and certification fee relief for nurses, nurse aides, and psychiatric technicians in recognition of their pandemic-related hardships and sacrifices.

This subsection sunsets and is repealed effective July 1, 2025.

Bill includes emergency safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety.
