Agricultural employers must provide workers living in employer-provided housing with at least 80 square feet of combined sleeping and living space in single-occupancy units or 100 square feet of sleeping quarters plus 120 square feet of common area per worker in multiple-occupancy housing.

All employer-provided housing must have screened windows opening to the outside or living space equipped with an air filtration system.

Workers engaged in open-range livestock production must be provided a single-occupancy mobile housing unit regardless of other available variances.

Agricultural employers may comply with alternative housing protections identified in a public health order issued by the Department of Public Health and Environment instead of meeting specified square footage requirements.

The Department may consult with the Department of Public Health and Environment to routinely inspect employer-provided housing for compliance with public health emergency guidelines and executive orders.
