State personnel director shall produce a quadrennial (every four years) compensation report on October 1, 2025, and October 1 of each fourth year thereafter, instead of annually.

Compensation report submission deadline to governor and joint budget committee changes from September 15 to October 1, beginning October 1, 2022.

State auditor shall conduct performance audits of compensation procedures every four years with reports due by December 30 (changed from June 30) following audit completion.

Total compensation study including retirement benefits shall be submitted quadrennially on October 1, 2025, and every fourth year thereafter (changed from every eighth year).

Appropriates $147,429 to department of personnel for 2022-23 fiscal year for 1.0 FTE position and related costs; decreases total compensation survey appropriation by $300,000.
