Submits to Colorado voters on November 8, 2022 a proposed constitutional amendment amending Article XVIII, Section 2 regarding charitable gaming activities.

Reduces the required period of continuous existence for charitable organizations seeking a gaming license from five years to three years, with authority for the General Assembly to establish a different period after January 1, 2025.

Allows managers and operators of charitable games of chance to receive compensation in excess of the applicable minimum wage by repealing the prohibition on remuneration, effective July 1, 2024.

Requires charitable organizations to be registered with the Secretary of State and clarifies that the Secretary of State is not responsible for reviewing wage, tax, or employment-related claims.

Amendment becomes effective upon approval by at least fifty-five percent of voting electors.
