Creates the Colorado Career Advisor Training Program within the Department of Education to provide training and courses to career advisors across K-12, higher education, adult education, nonprofit, and workforce settings.

Department of Education shall coordinate with Department of Higher Education, Department of Labor and Employment, Colorado Workforce Development Council, and Colorado Community College System to administer the program and award grants to eligible entities.

Eligible entities must apply to the Department of Education according to adopted timelines and guidelines, with the Department monitoring program effectiveness and selecting grant recipients.

Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Fund to the Department of Education for fiscal year 2022-23 to implement the Colorado Career Advisor Training Program.

Responds to the previous Colorado Career Conversations Training project (launched in 2019 but interrupted by COVID-19) by establishing a permanent program to help career advisors guide individuals toward meaningful careers in high-need economic sectors.
