• Expresses the Colorado General Assembly's support for increased awareness and availability of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as a treatment option for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) among Colorado residents, particularly active military members, first responders, and veterans.

• References Congress's enactment of the "Commander John Scott Hannon Veterans Mental Health Care Improvement Act of 2019" which mandated the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) study and conduct a pilot program on HBOT's efficacy for treating TBI and PTSD.

• Encourages Colorado's medical community to become informed about HBOT, cooperate with each other and the VA by sharing data, and conduct research on this treatment.

• Affirms the state's commitment to providing comprehensive mental health and medical care options to Colorado residents to help them participate fully in community life.
