Allows former members of the Colorado General Assembly to obtain a name badge indicating their prior service, effective January 1, 2024.

Former members must submit an application to either the Secretary of the Senate or Chief Clerk of the House (or both offices if they served in both chambers), with procedures to be jointly developed by these two officials.

Badge must display "Former Senator," "Former Representative," or "Former Representative and Senator" followed by the former member's name, depending on which chamber(s) they served in.

Former members bear all costs associated with obtaining and procuring the name badge.

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the 2023 legislative session, subject to potential referendum petition and voter approval in the November 2024 general election.
