• Division of Parks and Wildlife shall establish a two-year nontoxic bullet pilot program in cooperation with nongovernmental entities that provides vouchers to hunters to offset costs of purchasing nonlead hunting ammunition.

• Program focuses on areas where wildlife populations face special or potential concern from exposure to spent lead bullets, with scope determined collaboratively with willing nongovernmental partners.

• Division may develop and distribute educational materials, identify range space for public demonstrations, and designate a qualified entity to educate hunters about nontoxic bullet benefits and publicize the program.

• Division shall collect pilot program results including participation data and report findings to the Commission and post information on a publicly accessible website.

• $31,200 appropriated from the wildlife cash fund for the 2023-24 fiscal year for wildlife operations, with expenditures limited to staff time, printing, and educational materials; program terminates July 1, 2026.
