Extends high cost support mechanism funding for twelve rural telecommunications providers from December 1, 2023 to September 1, 2024

Aligns the funding expiration date with the scheduled sunset review date of the high cost support mechanism by the Department of Regulatory Agencies

Rural telecommunications providers receiving support as of January 1, 2017 continue to receive quarterly reimbursements at the same level established by averaging 2015 and 2016 payments

Ensures continued affordable telecommunications and broadband service for rural Colorado communities during the sunset review process

Takes effect 12:01 a.m. on the day following the ninety-day period after final adjournment, subject to referendum petition procedures
