• Creates a task force in the Office for Victims Programs to study and recommend victim and survivor awareness training requirements for judges, judicial officers, and court staff.

• Task force membership includes representatives from victim services organizations, legal professionals, judges from various court levels, and mental health professionals, with appointments made by the Office for Victims Programs manager and Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice by July 1, 2023.

• Task force must convene between July 15, 2023 and January 15, 2024 to analyze current judicial training on sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking; identify training gaps; and recommend trauma-informed practices and training standards.

• Training recommendations must comply with federal "Keeping Children Safe from Family Violence Act" requirements, including at least 20 hours of initial training and 15 hours of ongoing training every five years for judges presiding over parental responsibility cases.

• Task force must submit final report with findings and recommendations to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees and Judicial Department by February 1, 2024; the task force is repealed effective July 1, 2024.
