• Allows automated pharmacy dispensing systems to be located at the prescription drug outlet's registered address, a medical facility, or a practitioner's office, with systems dispensing controlled substances required to be at a DEA-registered location.

• Requires systems to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and prohibits retail pharmacy locations from operating automated systems except during hours when the physical pharmacy is closed.
