Adds aggravated motor vehicle theft (violation of section 18-4-409) to the list of felony convictions that prohibit a person from possessing, using, or carrying a firearm or other weapons subject to Colorado law.

Applies to persons convicted of or adjudicated for aggravated motor vehicle theft under existing statute 18-12-108(7).

Appropriates $48,217 to the judicial department for the 2023-24 state fiscal year for probation and related services, based on an assumption of 0.6 additional FTE.

Designates the act as immediately necessary for the preservation of public peace, health, or safety under the safety clause provision.
