• Clarifies that physicians submit medical marijuana recommendations rather than certifications or authorizations to the state health agency.

• Removes requirements that physician recommendations include the physician's federal drug enforcement agency number, maximum THC potency level, recommended product, patient's daily authorized quantity, and directions for use.

• Allows physicians to establish bonafide physician-patient relationships remotely via video or telephone conference with patients 21 years or older, under 18 years old, or 18-20 year-olds with prior medical marijuana cards.

• Increases daily medical marijuana concentrate purchase limit from 8 grams to 40 grams while capping 30-day purchases at 8 grams per day equivalent; exempts nonedible, nonpsychoactive products from the 20,000 milligram daily limit.

• Allows retail marijuana stores to sell retail marijuana products to medical marijuana patients and caregivers 21 years or older who present valid registry identification cards at medical marijuana purchase limits.
