Senate Bill 23-154 Summary

• Extends the sunset date of the Veterans One-Stop Center in Grand Junction (known as "Western Region One Source") from September 1, 2023 to September 1, 2030.

• Removes the center from the list of agencies scheduled for repeal on September 1, 2023 and adds it to the list of agencies scheduled for repeal on September 1, 2030.

• Requires the Division of Veterans Affairs to develop evaluation procedures by December 31, 2023 to assess the center's effectiveness in consultation with an advisory board.

• Directs the state treasurer to transfer any unexpended and unencumbered money from the center's fund to the Colorado State Veterans Trust Fund on September 1, 2030.

• Requires the Department of Regulatory Agencies to review the veterans one-stop center before its repeal in accordance with sunset review procedures.
