The Transportation Commission must specify completion timeframes, total estimated funding, and funding sources for each transportation project in the ten-year plan, with regular updates as circumstances change.

The Department of Transportation must designate and maintain a readily available contact for state and local elected officials to receive information about specific transportation projects affecting their communities.

The Department must annually report to the Transportation Legislation Review Committee during legislative interim on progress delivering projects identified in the ten-year plan, with guidance on accessing and understanding the plan.

The Transportation Commission must include an update on the ten-year plan in its annual proposed budget allocation plan submitted to the Joint Budget Committee.

The act takes effect September 1, 2023, unless subject to a referendum petition, in which case it requires voter approval at the November 2024 general election.
