SB23-273 Summary

• Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 31-25-107 to prohibit agricultural land from being included in newly designated urban renewal areas.

• Allows agricultural land to remain in existing urban renewal plans that were originally approved to include it prior to June 1, 2010, or that were substantially modified to include it before that date.

• Applies to urban renewal plans approved on or after the effective date of the act.

• Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety.
