• Retains existing requirement for one member with experience in Latino history documentation and one with experience in Asian American history documentation in Colorado.

• Appropriates $500,000 to the department of higher education for the state historical society to support commission activities for the 2023-24 fiscal year, with carryover funds available through 2026-27.

• Requires governor to appoint the four new discretionary members on or before October 1, 2023.
