Extends wildfire awareness month outreach campaigns through 2027, with the forest service required to implement enhanced campaigns in conjunction with the division of fire prevention and control and U.S. Forest Service.

Requires the state forester to submit reports to the wildfire matters review committee during 2023 through 2027 legislative interims concerning outreach efforts, or to relevant agriculture committees if the review committee is repealed.

Appropriates $40,000 to the healthy forests and vibrant communities fund for the 2024-25 fiscal year to conduct ongoing wildfire awareness campaigns and other outreach efforts.

Authorizes the forest service to implement additional outreach efforts during 2022-27 fiscal years that are expected to increase awareness of wildfire risk mitigation by residents in the wildland-urban interface.

Repeals the appropriation authorization effective July 1, 2028, creating a sunset provision for the ongoing funding mechanism.
