Extends the sunset date for the Suicide Prevention Commission from September 1, 2024 to September 1, 2034.

Reduces the maximum number of commission members from twenty-six to twenty-two.

Eliminates separate positions for suicide prevention nonprofit community representative and nonprofit community service club representative, consolidating these roles.

Clarifies commission composition requirements to ensure representation of various racial and ethnic backgrounds, rural areas, and groups with high suicide rates including LGBTQ+ youth and adults, military personnel, and people with disabilities.

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, subject to voter approval if a referendum petition is filed by November 2024.
