• Extends the Colorado Natural Areas Council's sunset date from September 1, 2024 to September 1, 2034, allowing the advisory council to the Parks and Wildlife Commission to continue operating for an additional 10 years.

• Removes the Colorado Natural Areas Council from the list of advisory committees scheduled for repeal on September 1, 2024 and adds it to the list of committees with a September 1, 2034 repeal date.

• Requires the Department of Regulatory Agencies to conduct a legislative review of the advisory committee prior to the September 1, 2034 termination date.

• Implements the recommendation from the 2023 sunset report by the Department of Regulatory Agencies regarding continuation of the council.

• Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, unless subject to a referendum petition filed within that period.
