Senate Bill 24-001 Summary

• Extends the temporary youth mental health services program through June 30, 2034 (previously set to expire June 30, 2024).

• Program reimburses providers for up to three mental health sessions per youth and includes substance use disorder services based on initial mental health screenings.

• Requires vendors to annually report to the behavioral health administration data on program efficacy, youth/parent/provider surveys, and met/unmet mental health needs by June 1 each year.
