Creates a "seal of climate literacy" diploma endorsement for high school students in Colorado who demonstrate mastery in climate literacy and green skills.

Students must complete at least two approved climate literacy courses (physical science, life science, earth science, or integrated climate courses) and successfully complete a climate literacy final experiential learning project focused on local community climate change effects.

Final projects may include capstone projects, field experiences, internships, community projects, laboratory experiments, original artwork or writing, or student-led programming with approval from the school district or climate literacy experiential learning provider.

Each school district must annually provide information to students in grades 6-12 and guardians about endorsement requirements, and must report data to the Department of Education by October 1 starting in 2025, including number of students receiving the seal, types of projects completed, and courses taken.

Appropriates $18,749 to the Department of Education for the 2024-25 fiscal year to support implementation, with positions split between student learning and student pathways divisions.
