• Eliminates requirement for mental health professionals to disclose differences between licensure, registration, and certification levels to clients during initial contact.

• Allows qualified psychometricians and student trainees under direct supervision of a licensee to administer required psychological testing.

• Requires all psychology and social work candidates to pass a Colorado jurisprudence examination administered by the Division before registration.

• Reduces candidate registration validity period from four years to three years for psychologist, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, licensed professional counselor, and addiction counselor candidates.

• Mandates candidates renewing registration a second time must complete continuing professional development and educational hours; requires all regulatory boards to begin rulemaking by December 31, 2024 to align rules with these new standards.
