Senate Bill 24-178 Summary

• Repeals subsection (3) of Colorado Revised Statutes 2-3-1304, eliminating the requirement for state agencies and institutions of higher education to submit annual inventories of nondeveloped real property to the capital development committee.

• Removes the requirement for the capital development committee to include nondeveloped real property information in an annual report published on the general assembly website.

• Repeals subsection (4) of Colorado Revised Statutes 24-32-705, eliminating the requirement for the Division of Housing to maintain a website link to the nondeveloped real property report.

• Repeals subsection (3)(b) of Colorado Revised Statutes 24-82-102.5, removing language allowing the department to use the capital development committee's list as a basis for its own inventory while still requiring independent ascertainment.

• Takes effect 12:01 a.m. the day following the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly, subject to possible referendum petition and voter approval.
