Office of School Safety must convene a work group by July 1, 2025 to develop best practices for trauma-informed school safety drills and incident response

Work group must deliver recommendations by August 1, 2026 on trauma-informed practices, personnel training, drill frequency, and parent guidance

Schools must implement work group recommendations beginning August 1, 2027

Educator preparation programs and alternative teacher programs must include trauma-informed practices training for teachers beginning in the 2026-27 school year
