Expands Colorado's jail-based behavioral health services program to include complementary services such as motivational enhancement therapy, meditation, and auricular acudetox for incarcerated individuals beginning July 1, 2025

Requires the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) to provide funding to jails for administering these complementary services, with BHA approval required before jails can spend the funds

Jails must use funding to train staff in administering complementary behavioral health services and provide these services to incarcerated persons at no cost to the individual

Appropriates up to $50,000 annually starting in fiscal year 2025-26 for the administration of complementary behavioral health services
