Authorizes occupational therapists in Colorado to directly recommend and prescribe durable medical equipment to patients without obtaining a prescription from a licensed physician

Requires prescribing occupational therapists to consult with patients regarding payment options for durable medical equipment

Amends the definition of occupational therapy in Colorado Revised Statutes (Section 12-270-104) to include this prescribing authority

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case it would go to voters in November 2026
