Repeals the requirement for the Legislative Audit Committee to conduct performance audits of Colorado's Automobile Inspection and Readjustment (AIR) program every five years

Eliminates the mandated public hearing that the committee was required to hold after completing each audit report

Removes statutory criteria for evaluating ongoing public need for the program, including considerations of air quality impact, cost to the public, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with national air quality standards

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case it would go to voters in November 2026
