Creates a new licensure framework for dietitians and nutritionists in Colorado effective September 1, 2026, requiring individuals to obtain a license to practice medical nutrition therapy

Licensed dietitians must hold a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited nutrition/dietetics program, complete at least 1,000 hours of supervised practice, and pass the registration examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Licensed nutritionists must hold a master's or doctoral degree in a nutrition-related field, complete 1,000 hours of supervised practice across nutrition assessment, intervention, and monitoring, and pass the Certified Nutrition Specialist examination or equivalent

Establishes a 7-member Dietetics and Nutrition Advisory Committee to advise the Director, with members including licensed dietitians, nutritionists, a physician, and a public representative

Appropriates $100,584 from the division of professions and occupations cash fund for FY 2025-26 to implement the program, including 0.5 FTE for the division and 0.2 FTE for legal services
