Statewide health care review committee must study billing practices of health-care providers, health facilities, and health insurance carriers during the 2025 interim

Study will determine whether patients receive timely billing for health-care services and identify reasons for any delays

Committee may meet up to 4 times during the 2025 interim to complete the study

Report due within 90 days of final meeting to the Governor's office and House/Senate Health and Human Services committees, including meeting summaries, findings, and legislative recommendations

Provision automatically repeals July 1, 2026
