HB 25-1244: Welcome, Reception, & Integration Grant Program

• Removes the requirement that migrants must have arrived in the U.S. within the past year to qualify for program services
• Requires grant recipients to prioritize migrants who have arrived in the United States within the past three years
• Expands eligibility to any individual who does not qualify for federal support services or refugee resettlement assistance benefits, regardless of arrival date
• Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety
