Grants peace officer status to Department of Revenue Firearms Dealer Division employees, including the director, deputy director, agent in charge, criminal investigator supervisor, and criminal investigators

Expands peace officer status for Auto Industry Division employees to include deputy director, agent in charge, criminal investigator supervisor, and criminal investigators (previously only the director and investigators were covered)

Requires P.O.S.T. Board certification for agents in charge, criminal investigator supervisors, and criminal investigators in both divisions; certification is optional for directors and deputy directors

Extends enforcement authority for these employees beyond their primary regulatory duties to include all laws of the State of Colorado

Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety
