Proposes a constitutional amendment prohibiting a person appointed to fill a legislative vacancy from serving as state representative or senator for the term immediately following their appointed term in that same office

Requires the amendment to appear on the November 3, 2026 general election ballot for voter approval

Requires at least 55% voter approval for the amendment to become part of the Colorado Constitution

Retains existing legislator qualifications: must be at least 25 years old, a U.S. citizen, and have resided in the district for at least 12 months prior to election
