Division of Fire Prevention and Control must establish public-private agreements with vendors to develop and operate AI-enabled wildfire detection camera systems capable of identifying fires at least 10 miles away with feeds refreshing at least once per minute

Creates the Fire Technology Cash Fund in the state treasury, with transfers from the unused state-owned real property fund of up to $1 million (FY 2025-26), $2 million (FY 2026-27), and $3 million (FY 2027-28)

Detection components must include 360-degree panoramic camera stations with 20x zoom, AI monitoring capabilities, real-time alerts for fire agencies, and pixelation technology to protect privacy of private structures

Builds on existing network of more than 40 wildfire detection cameras already deployed across Colorado, which provide visual intelligence for incident assessment and resource coordination

Department of Public Safety must report annually to legislative committees on division activities under the program
