Creates a work group by September 1, 2025, under the Office of School Safety to develop best practices for incorporating trauma-informed practices into school safety drills

Work group membership includes educators, administrators, school nurses, behavioral health professionals, a student representative, law enforcement, and parents representing urban, rural, and charter schools

Work group must be funded entirely by gifts, grants, and donations totaling at least $50,000; no general fund appropriation is authorized

Work group duties include determining drill frequency, staff training requirements, advance notice to parents, and guidance for responding to students who experience emotional reactions during drills

Report with findings and recommendations due to the legislature, Governor, and Department of Education within one year and one month of the work group taking effect; section repeals July 1, 2027, or one year after report completion
