Requires businesses offering automatic renewal contracts to provide a "one-step online cancellation" method that allows consumers to cancel immediately without obstructions or delays

For contracts made online, businesses must offer a cancellation link on their website or in electronic communications, available immediately after the consumer completes a reasonable authentication process

Businesses may display discounted offers or retention benefits during online cancellation, but must simultaneously show a prominently located direct link to cancel and promptly process cancellations without obstruction

Expands the definition of "consumer" from individuals making personal purchases to any "person" seeking goods, services, money, or credit

Grants the Attorney General rulemaking authority to implement and enforce these requirements, with most provisions taking effect 90 days after legislative adjournment and the consumer definition change effective February 16, 2026
