Repeals the Commodity Metals Theft Task Force, effective September 1, 2025, implementing the recommendation from the 2024 Department of Regulatory Agencies sunset review

Eliminates the 10-member task force that included representatives from Colorado State Patrol, sheriffs, police chiefs, scrap metal dealers, utilities, railroads, and local governments

Removes requirements for the task force to meet annually to address commodity metals and catalytic converter theft issues, including tracking stolen materials and improving theft prevention laws

Eliminates reporting requirements that directed the Colorado State Patrol to provide assessment and inspection reports to the task force

Takes effect 90 days after the general assembly adjourns, unless a referendum petition is filed
