Authorizes temporary use of Centennial Correctional Facility-South C-Tower to house protective-, close-, and medium-custody inmates during the Sterling Correctional Facility access controls capital renewal project

Requires the Department of Corrections to submit a structured relocation plan to the Joint Budget Committee and Judiciary Committees at least 30 days before relocating any inmates

Relocation plan must detail available educational, rehabilitative, vocational programs, behavioral health and medical care, employment opportunities, recreational access, visitation policies, and out-of-cell time based on custody level

Appropriates $1,829,000 from the general fund for FY 2025-26 to cover start-up costs at Centennial Correctional Facility-South C-Tower

Authorization expires June 30, 2027, and future major inmate accommodations of this kind should be considered by the capital development committee
