Beginning July 1, 2025, the Judicial Department must transfer 75% of money collected from bond forfeiture judgments to the Judicial Collection Enhancement Fund

100% of money collected from bail forfeiture judgments involving appearance bonds from compensated sureties must be transferred to the same fund starting July 1, 2025

The Judicial Collection Enhancement Fund, which already receives time payment fees and late penalty fees, is amended to include these new bond forfeiture revenue sources

Fund appropriations support the Judicial Department's administrative and personnel costs for collecting restitution, fines, fees, and other monetary assessments
