Recognizes contributions of Mexican Americans, Hispanos, Chicanos, and Latinos to Colorado's culture, economy, arts, politics, and social justice movements

Honors historical figures including Hispano founders Casimiro Barela and Felipe Baca, civil rights leaders like Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales and Federico Peña, and organizations such as SPMDTU (the oldest Latino civil rights organization in the country)

Acknowledges May 5 is also the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the Mexican Consulate of Denver, SPMDTU, CLLARO, Servicios de la Raza, and History Colorado
