Authorizes pharmacists, dental hygienists, and registered nurses to provide specific, low-level preventive health-care services within their existing scope of practice and training.

Permits these providers to administer vaccines approved by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, conduct routine health screenings (blood pressure, diabetes risk assessments, cholesterol checks), and provide patient education on preventive health measures.

Applies to preventive services for all patients and is intended to expand access to preventive health-care services for Medicaid recipients and low-income individuals.

Does not expand scope of practice beyond existing professional licensure laws or require additional licensure for providers.

Requires the Department to perform any duties within existing resources beginning in state fiscal year 2026-27, with no new appropriations authorized.
