Codifies in Colorado statute that individuals have the right to own, possess, and use firearms to the maximum extent permissible under state and federal constitutions

Repeals Colorado's entire extreme risk protection order (ERPO) law, eliminating both temporary and standard ERPOs that allow courts to temporarily remove firearms from individuals deemed a danger to themselves or others

Removes ERPO-related requirements from concealed carry permit training courses, firearms safety courses, and gun violence prevention education programs

Eliminates the state court administrator's duty to report ERPO statistics to the judicial department and removes ERPO data from the automated protection order notification system

Effective date is August 12, 2026, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case the act would require voter approval in the November 2026 general election
